Montgomery Printing is owned by James Montgomery. The company was established in 1983 with one full-time and one part-time employee. Montgomery Printing started out in a small 12 x 20 shed that was in dire need of improvements. Improvements began with a much appreciated loan of $318.00 from his dad.

From that small loan, his screen printing business grew, mostly from loyal customers who appreciated James' genuine approach and honest appreciation for the products he sold and produced, and also by his sincere interest in their local businesses, schools, churches, and events.

For over twenty years, the company met South Georgia's screen printing and promotional needs from Eldorado, Georgia, a small, rural community not far from Tifton. With great pride and dedication, Montgomery Printing grew into two thriving businesses: Montgomery Printing, LLC and Montgomery Promotions, LLC. Soon James realized there was a great need to expand his business to better serve his growing customer base. The printing warehouse was kept in Eldorado, Georgia, with 7000 square feet of offices and printing areas. The main facility was to be stationed in Tifton, Georgia.

In the summer of 2005, Montgomery Printing, LLC and Montgomery Promotions, LLC, moved into the main location, in downtown Tifton, on Tift Avenue. With over 18,000 square feet of offices, showrooms and production space, the new facility is unlike any printing or promotional business around. In-house embroidery, art, vinyl, and sales departments encompass much of the building, but there is also promotional product showrooms, promotional apparel showrooms and a recently added retail sports apparel and accessories store.
